Tandoori Malai Chicken Skewers

Air Fryer meal, but it can be made in a pan or oven



Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken (cut into strips)

  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp kasuri methi

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 tbsp yogurt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients.

  2. Coal smoke is optional. Heat a piece of coal on the stove, and place a piece of aluminum foil on the chicken. Place the coal on foil, and drizzle some oil on it. Quickly cover and leave it for half an hour, remove the coal, and let the chicken marinate for a minimum of 1 hour.

  3. Soak Bamboo skewers for a half-hour in water

  4. Make chicken skewers, and place them in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 350ºF, 7-8 minutes on each side.


Malai sauce:

  1. Take 1 tbsp butter in a pan

  2. Add 1 tsp garlic paste

  3. Fry for a few seconds

  4. Add 1 tsp paprika

  5. 1 tsp dried parsley

  6. 1 tsp chaat masala

  7. Stir fry for a few seconds

  8. Add half a cup of cream/malai

  9. Stir fry for a minute

  10. Add a splash of water if it gets too thick. Once the chicken skewers are ready, coat them in the malai sauce.

Serve with rice, fries, or make wraps!
